• If possible, use high-power devices during the day when solar panels are in operation and for short periods ; avoid using multiple high loads simultaneously.
• Set the battery type to GEL on the charge controller; configure the charge/discharge voltages according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Do not deep discharge the batteries; aim for a low Depth of Discharge ( ≈ 50–60% DoD ) for a longer lifespan.
• Select cable cross-sections appropriate for the current, add appropriate fuses and circuit breakers to the DC side; regularly check connection tightness and polarity.
• Install the panels in an unshaded area; fully lock the MC4 connectors; use watertight junction boxes for cable routing; and perform periodic panel cleaning.
• Place the inverter and batteries in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area; keep them away from heat sources.
• Install grounding and residual current device (RCD) protection ; have the installation and initial commissioning carried out by a qualified electrician.
