What is a Hydromat?

Hydromat units are attached to the discharge ports of pumps, transforming the pump into a booster pump without the need for any other components (e.g., expansion tank, pressure switch). Because Hydromats are resistant to dry running, they can be connected to the mains without a storage tank and feature a permanent check valve located at the bottom of their housing.

The hydromat is convenient because it requires no maintenance or adjustment, is quiet to install, and easy to assemble. It prevents moisture and odor in the water. With 3 operating LEDs, the hydromat operates quickly and conveniently.

What is a Hydromat (Fluid Control) used for?

A hydromat, just like in booster pumps with expansion tanks, automatically activates or deactivates the pump according to water demand. It can be thought of like a faucet; it's a control unit that automatically starts when the faucet is turned on and automatically stops when the faucet is turned off. Therefore, when a hydromat is installed on a pump, it is then called a booster pump.

Another name for Hidromat is Fluid Control.

Advantages of the Hydromat Device

Because the water pump does not have a large expansion tank, it takes up little space, is practical to use, and is lightweight.

Since there is no balance tank, there is no problem like membrane replacement, it is odorless, and the tank cannot be punctured.

Because taps are frequently opened and closed, the pump motor constantly starts and stops. To prevent this from causing problems, it has an internal protection system. According to this system, when the water demand is over, the pump reaches its maximum pressure and continues to operate at maximum pressure for 15 seconds. Thus, when the tap is opened, the motor will already be running, protecting it from potential damage.

Each hydromat has a check valve at its bottom, which prevents backflow and avoids problems that may arise from it.

The Hydromat unit has an electronic circuit board and an artificial intelligence system. When the device runs out of water, it continues to operate for 15 seconds to prevent self-damage.

Because it can be connected directly to the system without using a water tank, there is no need to take precautions against dry running as is the case with tank-based booster pumps. This reduces the stress on the person operating the hydromat tank, preventing anxieties such as "will the machine break down and disrupt the work?".

The three LED lights on the Hidromat provide ease of operation. These LED lights are called motor active, fault, and power LEDs.

It is easier to maintain and, compared to devices without a hydromat, it is less costly due to the lack of maintenance expenses, as it does not require maintenance such as pumping air into the tank every 6 months.
